We are thrilled to welcome the WRLA Building & Lumber Showcase to Edmonton in January 2025! The event, held at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, will provide retailers with the opportunity to network, connect, and learn from top experts in service provision, distribution, and manufacturing.

Edmonton EXPO Centre
Host to the WRLA conference in 2025, the Edmonton EXPO Centre is no stranger to hosting iconic events. Home to KDays and Edmonton Stingers basketball games, it also serves as a backdrop for trade shows, vintage markets, graduations and so much more. The Edmonton EXPO Centre is complete with a food court that offers a wide range of lunch options like Ukrainian food, and other quick-casual classics like pizza, burgers, and grab-and-go snacks.

Explore Attractions and Experiences
Discover world-famous attractions, including West Edmonton Mall—an indoor mall spanning the equivalent of 48 city blocks—that has something to entertain the whole family for days on end. Head over to the Art Gallery of Alberta, the province's oldest cultural institution that celebrated its 100th birthday in 2024! You can't miss the ICE District, Edmonton's hub for sports and entertainment (not to mention the phenomenal bars, restaurants and cafes, that exist here) and home to the Edmonton Oilers! Take a stroll through Whyte Avenue, which features one-of-a-kind art galleries, music and record shops, trendy restaurants, and a stellar nightlife scene.
Outdoor Adventure
Edmonton is home to the North Saskatchewan River Valley, the largest urban parkland in Canada. Boasting over 160km of trails to explore, the North Saskatchewan River Valley is 22 times the size of New York's Central Park! If you’re lucky, you may spot some furry or feathered friends like squirrels, birds, beavers, and even deer, that call our river valley home. For a day on the slopes without having to leave the city, check out Snow Valley or Rabbit Hill located on the South side, and Edmonton Ski Club, situated in the heart of downtown. Try something new and snowshoe your way through the breathtaking snow-coated river valley or slip on some ice skates at one of Edmonton's many outdoor rinks!
