The Vikings are here… for real! Sail into Viking Day at the RAM for crafts, games, music, and of course, epic battles.
Meet the Vikings as you wander through their village. Visit the blacksmith’s forge; learn about ancient medicines and healing herbs; challenge a Viking to a game of “fools dice;” weave wire for jewellery, spin wool for clothing and try your hand at tablet weaving; Or, just enjoy the sounds of Viking-age music, performed on historical instruments such as the lyre, horn flutes and panpipes. Be sure to head upstairs to the theatre for a weapon and battle demonstration from the Viking warriors!
