U SPORTS Women's Final 8
The best women's basketball in the country is coming to the University of Alberta! Witness a whirlwind of dribbles and dazzling plays as the Pandas host the 2024 U SPORTS Women's Basketball Championships. Cheer on as eight Canadian teams descend on the city, with the champion taking home the Bronze Baby Trophy. With 11 adrenaline-pumping games on the roster, the single-elimination showdown promises edge-of-the-seat action from tip-off to the final buzzer!

SkirtsAfire Festival
For 12 years, the SkirtsAfire Festival has empowered artists and audiences with multidisciplinary performances, activations and exhibits. In conjunction with International Women’s Day, SkirtsAfire runs from February 29 to March 10 at the Westbury Theatre, the Walterdale Theatre, and many other venues in the heart of Old Strathcona. Come and experience amazing live performances — theatre, dance, cabaret, music, comedy, visual art, and spoken word are all on the menu.

The Sound of Music

Hairspray: The Musical
The infectious energy of Hairspray is back in action! Join 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad in the vibrant world of 1960s Baltimore as she kicks off a dance revolution to shimmy her way onto the hottest TV show in town. Packed with toe-tapping tunes like “Welcome to the ‘60s,” “Good Morning Baltimore,” and the show-stopping “You Can’t Stop the Beat,” Hairspray is a deliriously tuneful experience. The Edmonton International BeerFest has training in the Cicerone Certification Program to help you become a beer master! The very own Cicerones Neil Witte will be onsite for a full day of education in the Cicerone Certification Program.

When it comes to hockey, you've gotta keep it simple. Take it one shift at a time, get pucks to the net, and give 110% out there. Giants in the Mist at the Muttart
Visit Edmonton's iconic pyramid greenhouses to breathe in the refreshing air! Until March 10, the Muttart Conservatory's rotating exhibit features a showcase of larger-than-life pollinators and prehistoric dinosaurs. Adults are invited to visit on Wednesdays to experience the adults-only nights, where you can enjoy treats and drinks from Cafe Bloom, then explore the biomes with your sweet treat in hand!

Mad Moto & Indoor Triathlon
The Triathlon Alberta Mad Moto Series is coming to Edmonton! Anyone from the age of 12 and up can participate in the swim and run relay. It's a fantastic way for anyone to dip their toes into the sport of triathlon. A paratriathlon provincials title is also up for grabs at this event, so be sure to stick around and cheer on the para-athletes!
