Bring Your Students
Urban Farm School is 100% outdoors and features our beehive, flock of hens, rabbits, worm compost, soil, seeds, and plants. The Urban Farm can accommodate up to 100 members of one group (or, for instance, four classes from the same school).
Edmonton Urban Farm is right next to Borden Park, so many groups choose to visit both sites!
School Groups
Urban Farm School sessions are free, highly interactive, and curriculum-linked. They last 1.5 hours (9:30am-11:00am or 1:00pm - 12:30pm) but can be adjusted if required. All programs run daily Tuesday pm-Friday am.
- Urban Farm School (Fall): September 10-October 4, 2024.
Homeschool Groups
Large homeschool groups (10-25 or more) may register for Urban Farm School as a class. Small homeschool groups or homeschool families may register for Homeschool Day.
- Homeschool Day (Fall): Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Summer Groups
Youth groups, daycares, day camps, and other summer youth programs are also welcome to join us at Urban Farm. All programs run daily Tuesday pm-Friday am.
- Urban Farm Summer Adventures: July 3-September 4, 2024.
Families
Families are also welcome to visit any Saturday (without booking) during the summer months.
- Family drop-in times: June 1st to September 28th, 2024, 10am-4pm.
