Ernest’s Dining Room at NAIT provides a 5-star dining experience featuring outstanding modern cuisine and elegant service at reasonable prices. During the academic year, all dishes are prepared and served by NAIT Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students. An emphasis on etiquette and authenticity is encouraged through the guidance of professional mentors. Mastery of traditional cookery is combined with contemporary artistry to produce electric menus that are constantly changing.

During the summer and holiday seasons, Ernest’s executive chef prepares exclusive limited menus using local seasonal ingredients. Ernest’s also features special events and dinners throughout the year, such as wine - or beer-pairing menus, as well as exclusive pop-ups with local chefs and NAIT Culinary Arts alumni, who often work at some of Edmonton’s most well-established restaurants.

Ernest’s Dining Room has been named one of the Top 100 restaurants in Canada by OpenTable diners in 2016 and 2017.
