Verses with Veterans
Poetry Reading at the RAM.
Visit the Royal Alberta Museum for a special event honouring the legacy of RCAF fighter pilot George Aitken, AFC, through the words of his daughter, poet Dorothy Lowrie. Lowrie will share reflections on her father’s service during the Second World War, accompanied by poems written by both father and daughter. Guests will also have the opportunity to view personal objects from Aitken that are now part of the museum's Military and Government History collection.
