RACE DAY INFO:

With the Red Bull Soapbox Race speeding into Edmonton soon, here are a few tips to help you have the best race day experience.

Transportation:

We suggest making your travel arrangements ahead of time as vehicle parking will be limited. Bike parking with security will be made available on-site, and there will be a ride share spot for pick-ups and drop-offs. There will also two Park & Ride bus lines running 90 minutes before the event begins, until 60 minutes after the event ends.

  • South Line: Windsor Car Park/Health Science LRT to Kinsmen and return (every 5 minutes)
  • North Line: NAIT (109 St & 118 Avenue EB) to Kinsmen and return (every 5 minutes)


Event Info:

Prior to the race, a land acknowledgement and hoop dance will be performed by Notorious Cree, and Robert Clark will sing the National Anthem. Former Red Bull Crashed Ice athlete Rob Worling will also take to the hill on rollerblades.

Onsite Amenities:

Wondering whether to pack lunch? Enjoy a meal from one of the food trucks onsite instead! There will also be a vendor's area, screens to watch the race, and washrooms.
