Celebrating 35 years in 2025, Silver Skate is Edmonton's longest running winter festival! Silver Skate strives to create unique winter experiences through arts, culture, recreation and sports.
Feel the freshness of cool air on your face as you skate on the ice and participate in winter recreation activities, marvel at the magnificent creations of international snow carvers in the Snow Sculpture Garden, explore the magic of the Folk Trail, be in awe of the majestic fire sculpture burns and learn from knowledge keepers, craftspeople, artists and more in the Heritage Village.
