Pip is the latest member of the Next Act family in the heart of Old Strathcona, an intimate 28-seat restaurant offering elevated comfort food for dinner & brunch seven days a week. With a small but focused wine list and brunch-oriented cocktails, Pip is also THE spot for weekday brunch or a wine date south of the river. Brunch offerings range from light & healthy (quinoa breakfast bowl with arugula, hardboiled egg & pesto) to the indulgent classics (Eggs Benedict with shaved ham & dill hollandaise).
For dinner, there is plenty to choose from: olives for sharing, seared Manchego cheese plate, and open-faced sandwiches; entrees range from lighter vegetarian options (orzo with mushroom, lemon, garlic & parmesan) to omnivore classics like roasted chicken (with crispy fried kale & brown butter gravy), pork belly (with warm apple-fennel salad and pickled cabbage), and chuck flat steak (on a bed of baby potatoes with sugar snap peas & zesty chimichurri).
