La Cité Francophone

Along the tree-lined streets of Edmonton’s French Quarter, tucked low into a softly sloping hill, is La Cité Francophone. It’s beautifully manicured hill entices guests down to the large multi-level patio that does double duty as an intimate event space and outdoor seating area for Café Bicyclette. The café is a cozy diner specializing in French and Québécois dishes and pastries and is available to cater La Cité events. The patio boasts blooming flowers, trees draped in lights, and an abundance of umbrellas to keep guests comfortable during sun-soaked days and warm summer nights. The main building’s gently curving glass walls enclose the patio and welcome guests inside to enjoy the well-lit rotunda and central staircase that often plays host to summer farmers markets. Further inside the contemporary architecture is a theatre and three multi-functional and adaptable conference rooms ideal for any size meeting or party.
