Siblings Brad and Cindy Lozarenko own and operate the Culina restaurants (Their second location at the Muttart Conservatory is currently closed and undergoing renovation). Culina To Go is a fun takeout concept with a focus on local producers and suppliers. Brad and Cindy are Métis and to pay homage to their roots, they are creating their “Indigenous Monday’s” where absolutely everything served on Monday’s is Indigenous-inspired. Meals centre around the “Three Sisters” ingredients- maize, beans and squash. These three ingredients were utilized in Indigenous culture and grew heavily around Alberta. Brad and Cindy take these traditional ingredients and create amazing, delicious dishes with their own, unique spin.
