Feed your curiosity at the Royal Alberta Museum! Located in the Arts District downtown, RAM’s expansive galleries will immerse you in stories of Alberta's people and natural environment. The Children's Gallery is currently closed, but there are still countless exhibits to pique the curiosity of every kid. Did someone say live bugs? With hundreds of stories, thousands of objects, and a million opportunities for discovery, a day at RAM will fly by faster than you can say Woolly Mammoth.

This family-friendly attraction is currently limiting visitor numbers and issuing time-ticket admission, so purchase your tickets online ahead of time!

Step inside a giant laboratory and come face-to-face with small sea creatures, learn to program a robot and explore the limits of outer space when you visit TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. With five fun and exciting permanent exhibit galleries to explore, the IMAX theatre, Zeidler Dome, and so much more, there is something for the whole family to discover.

TELUS World of Science is also offering a series of activities and events that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home. Science is everywhere - even in your kitchen! Discover DIY experiments, rent an IMAX documentary, participate in one of the many interactive virtual events and much more.

Home to hundreds of species of plants and animals from around the world, The Edmonton Valley Zoo is the perfect place to take your Edmonton staycation up a notch! Bring along the kids for a chance to see animals from the tiny African Pygmy Hedgehog to a Siberian Tiger and everything in between. Don't give a hoot about mammals? Bird lovers can meet the snowy owl, bald eagle, great-horned owl and more. Check out the Polar Extremes exhibit that gives visitors an up-close view of seals, sea lions, and so much more.

Art lovers, rejoice! The Art Gallery of Alberta has re-opened its doors to the public from Thursdays to Sundays. With an exterior of zinc, glass and steel inspired by Edmonton’s unique northern environment, the gallery exudes creativity even from the outside. Take in everything from original contemporary to historical exhibitions from Alberta, across Canada and around the world. Here you'll find the awe-inspiring exhibits Leiden circa 1630: Rembrandt Emerges, Nests for the End of the World, Halie Finney: The Ghosts of the Mink Make a Big Spirit and much more.
