Contest begins at 9:00am Mountain Standard Time (MST) on December 11, 2023. Contest entries will be accepted until 11:59pm MST on December 14, 2023. One of two pairs of tickets to the premiere of Cirque de Soleil: Corteo on December 27, 2023. The approximate value of the prize is $400 CAD.

How do I enter the Contest?

To enter, you must fill out the entry form above, which sets forth a description of the prize.

You must include your name, phone number, and email address. This information will only be used to contact the winner. By providing an email address, it will be deemed to be made by the authorized email account holder at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an email address. Anyone found to use multiple email accounts to enter will be ineligible. There is a maximum of one entry per person during the contest period. No responsibility is assumed by Explore Edmonton for any computer, online telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries.

Employees, officers and directors of Explore Edmonton, any contest sponsor or suppliers, their respective affiliates or representatives, and those with whom the foregoing individuals reside, are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

How is a winner chosen?

Contestants who enter will have their names entered into a random draw to win the prize. There will be two random winners drawn on December 15, 2023.

The winner will be contacted after the draw dates notifying them of their win and details on how to collect their prize. If the winner does not confirm that they accept the prize within 3 days of notification, a new winner will be chosen.

In order to be eligible to win, contestants must:

• Be 18 years of age or over
• Have government-issued ID
• Answer the following skill-testing question: name the capital of Alberta

Chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. The total approximate retail value of the Cirque de Soleil: Corteo Contest Prize is $300.

The prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged absent the consent of the Contest sponsors, which consent may be withheld in their absolute discretion. The Contest prize may not be exactly as advertised. The Contest sponsors reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever the reason, of the advertised prize in whole or in part.
