Put on your best walking shoes and head out on the CBC YEG Walk, a monthly tour of Edmonton's hidden gems and top attractions served up by the one and only Mark Connolly; host extraordinaire of Edmonton AM.
This month, they're partnering with Nextfest and taking YEG walk to the south side of the river. The tour starts at The Roxy on Gateway (8529 103 St NW). From there you'll head into the neighbourhood and visit the theatres and murals that make Old Strathcona a vibrant theatre and arts hub.
The tour is free but registration is required.
