Have you ever noticed how many amazing places there are to eat in Edmonton? I bet you have a list of places that you’ve “always been meaning to try” or drive past all the time. Well now’s your chance! Grab your eating buddy (and stretchy pants) and get ready to wine and dine.
Your adventure starts with drinks at Lit Wine Bar, an upscale wine bar with Italian flair on the ever-trendy 104th Street. For your next stop, you won’t have to go far, as you’re just hopping across the street to Tzin Wine and Tapas for delectable finger foods in just about the comfiest little nook you’ve ever seen.
As you wander around downtown, be sure to stop in at Tres Carnales, where you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Mexico! The Tres Carnales experience is as close to authentic Mexico as you can get. Have a fish taco for us, they’re our favourite!
For dinner, you’ll be staying downtown and making your way over to The Marc, Edmonton’s finest French cuisine. Their 10-oz Harvest Angus ribeye was voted as the best steak in Edmonton, and it’s literally melt in your mouth good!
Hopefully you still have an appetite as you walk just a few short blocks to Zinc, in the heart of the Art Gallery of Alberta and the Downtown Arts District. Fresh Alberta ingredients and stunning surroundings will be your company for dinner.
I bet you’re full now! But you probably saved room for dessert. You always save room for dessert. Indulge in some banana, Kahlua and pecan bread pudding or some coconut and honey brûlée at Characters Fine Dining.
By now, you’re probably ready for bed….or more dessert! Head down to trendy Old Strathcona and grab a slice at Block 1912. With desserts baked on site, your mouth will be watering from the aroma as soon as you step through the door. Pastries, pies, tortes, tarts and cheesecake….grab a fork!
