Originally built in 1911, The Mercer Warehouse was home to some of Edmonton’s original movers and shakers. After surviving a fire only 11 years after being built, it was one of the last buildings in the industrial area left standing. In 2012, it was revitalized and transformed back to its original state with exposed brick, wooden floors and modern chandeliers. Now the Mercer Warehouse is a hive of activity with some of Edmonton’s most vibrant cafes, florists, tech and design companies and restaurants, including Mercer Tavern.
