Servus Heritage Festival

Edmonton Folk Music Festival
Come to the Edmonton Folk Music Festival for four days of incredible music right in the heart of the city. This year's line up includes amazing artists like Jose Gonzalez, Leon Bridges, City and Colour, The Decemberists and more! Not only is the music great at Folk Fest, the atmosphere is electric, the setting is picturesque, and the food is to die for. So grab your blanket or low-rise chair and park yourself for what’s bound to be an epic weekend.
Cariwest Caribbean Arts Festival
Do you like colourful? How about delicious? Get your dose of Caribbean culture with the Cariwest Arts Festival representing the rich traditions and cultures of Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. You’ll experience glitzy parade costumes, dancing to island rhythms and exotic cuisine. The weekend extravaganza promises to be the biggest, brightest and boldest in Cariwest’s illustrious history.
International Fringe Theatre Festival
North America’s biggest and oldest Fringe Festival is back for another year to rock your world. Over 1,600 local, national and international performers take over Edmonton in the theatrical display of the summer. As you’re weaving in and out of shows, you’ll find magicians, sword swallowers, buskers, beat boxers and many more performing on the streets. Don’t miss it!
Edmonton Rock Music Festival
Make your way to Hawrelak Park to enjoy some of the best acts in local and Canadian music. Sing along to your favourite songs, hang out with friends, take in the fresh air at the outdoor amphitheater and crowd surf to awesome acts like Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, Sass Jordan, Chilliwack, Trooper and more. Rock on!
Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival
Summer festival season takes to the water as the Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival cruises its way down the North Saskatchewan River. Grab a paddle or a lawn chair, listen for the sound of the drums, and bring a full tank of energy to cheer on the colourful dragon boat teams as they sprint down the river to the finish.
Admire aircrafts swooping, looping, dipping and gliding through the sky at the Edmonton Airshow. From aerobatic biplanes and multi-engine aircrafts to bush planes and remote control airplanes, you'll find every type of steel bird filling the grounds of the Villeneuve Airport this August. Watch live performances, check out the static and interactive displays and stop by the beer gardens for a cold one with friends.
Edmonton Latin Festival
Arrrrribbbbaa! Bring out your dancing shoes as Churchill Square comes alive with Latin flavour. Watch live musical artists and dancers, taste Latin dishes, browse the artisan marketplace and take part in the Latin carnival. Your senses will be filled with Central and South American culture without even leaving Edmonton.
Servus Edmonton Marathon
On your marks, get set…GO! The starting gun goes off, adrenaline is pumping and the participants charge ahead hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon. The Servus Edmonton Marathon is taking place from August 19-20 and takes runners on a route along Edmonton’s beautiful river valley. Cheer on participants or lace up your running shoes and join in on the race yourself.
Edmonton Blues Festival
Edmonton Blues Festival strums its way back into Edmonton with 15 acts over three days and more than enough amazing music to go around. This year features Grammy, Blues Music and Juno winners as well as other blues favourites including Albert Cummings, The Perpetrators, E.G. Kight, Colin Linden Trio and more. From legends to young bucks, Hawrelak Park is the proud host to the best blues party you’ve ever seen. Get your tickets quick as this festival tends to sell out.
Canada 150 Anniversary Pyramid at the Muttart Conservatory
Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday at the Muttart Conservatory with this commemorative exhibit! The Feature Pyramid will be filled with a display of beautiful summer annuals, Canadian native plants, a topiary of Canada’s flag, and a giant botanical birthday cake.
