The Main Attraction

West Edmonton Mall is the shopping mecca of the city with over 800 shops and services, and there is no better place to find every type of store under one roof. From brand name chains to one-of-a-kind boutiques spanning the equivalent of 48 city blocks, you best come prepared wearing a comfortable pair of shoes accompanied with a shop ‘til you drop state of mind. Here you’ll find Simons, one of Canada’s leading fashion retailers. During your shopping break, don’t forget to check out some of the amazing attractions such as Galaxyland, the world’s largest indoor amusement park, or the World Waterpark, with 17 waterslides and features.

There’s more great places to shop too!

For a more laid back shopping experience, check out some of our other well equipped malls. Kingsway Mall is home to dozens of boutique and specialty shops including Aritzia, Lululemon Athletica, Fossil, Pandora, and Sephora.

Southgate Centre hosts over 165 stores and is one of the top shopping destinations in Edmonton. Stop by the only Crate and Barrel in the city for some trendy and stylish home essentials.

City Centre Mall is located in the heart of downtown and is easily accessible by car, bus, and LRT. Their two-story Atmosphere is top notch and if you love movies, head to Landmark Cinemas as their lineups are rarely long. Check out the new ELEVATE food fare for some tasty fuel between shops.

Are you starting to miss the thought of Mother Nature with all this mall talk but aren’t quite ready to give shopping up yet? Head over to South Edmonton Common for some open-air retail therapy where you can find a ton of great discounted outlets, including Ikea, Nike, J. Crew, Adidas, and Banana Republic. Or head to 124th St. or Old Strathcona for smaller local shops that will help you stand out from the crowd.
