You don't have to hunt for the most egg-citing things to do this Easter. The egg-stravagant events happening around the city are fun for the whole family. You'll be egg-stremely pleased with the variety. Too far? Even if you've had enough of our yolks (had to sneak one more in there) you've got to check out these easter outings in and around Edmonton this year.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Rutherford House
Spring and Easter go hand in hand at Rutherford House. Celebrate the season as you explore the house and learn about dyes and how they were used to colour eggs, then munch on freshly baked cookies while you make a spring-themed craft. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny as you follow your trail of Easter eggs!

Easter Hoppennings at the Muttart Conservatory
Find out what’s hoppening down at the Muttart this Easter! Explore the pyramids and take part in the family-friendly activities, plant a keepsake Easter memory plant, and meet some funny friends down at the Conservatory. We know you’ll have a hoppin’ good time!

Sweet Treat at Fort Edmonton Park
Fort Edmonton Park is hosting an Easter celebration for the whole family! Explore the park as you work together to solve the scavenger hunt, then stop by the cookie decorating activity station and baking demonstration. Check out the puppet show and chase the little ones in the outdoor straw bale maze. Enjoy vintage short films in the Capitol Theatre, then cap it all off with a family photo with the Easter Bunny. Make a day of it and join Peter Cottontail for a pancake breakfast too!

Jacek Chocolate Couture, Sweet Lollapalooza and the Violet Chocolate Company are just some of the local chocolatiers crafting up delicious treats that are enough to make any bunny drool. You can also check out year-round farmers markets like City Market Downtown and the Old Strathcona Farmers Market for one-of-a kind crafts and hand-made confections!
