Just kidding! There is plenty of room for everyone to get in on the action when Western Week bucks into town from November 3-12. Events include the Canadian Finals Rodeo, Farmfair International and PBR Global Cup, as well as many John Wayne approved pop-ups. Delicious western themed eats will be a highlight of the week long party, and the 27th Annual Chili Cook Off is just the beginning—restaurants around town are getting into the western spirit too with themed menus and crafty cocktails.

Western Week gets off to a tasty start with the 27th Annual Chili Cook Off! Vote for your favourite chili and enter to win awesome prizes.

Free Pancake Breakfast

Bring a donation and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast at the Radisson Edmonton South. All funds raised will be given to the Edmonton Rodeo Cowboy's Benevolent Foundation which helps to support local athletes!

Join Hailey Benedict, winner of ACMAs Fan Choice Award, for some finger lickin' barbecue in support of a great cause. It's only $10 for a hamburger & chili with a beverage, and all proceeds will be donated to the Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters.

Head to Have Mercy for the official Canadian Finals Rodeo Barn Burner Dinner and Dance. Menu items include sweet corn hush puppies, Memphis dry pork ribs and banana bread doughnut pudding. Tickets are 60 dollars and include a 3 course meal, a feature Alberta premium cocktail, and live music with El Niven and The Alibi. Purchase your tickets through Eventbrite before they disappear like a tumbleweed in the wind.

Hit up Craft Beer Market during Western Week for eats that include chili & bun, dark beer braised beef brisket, Jack Daniels pulled pork sandwiches and more. Plus, drink specials like tasty Tennessee Mules (Jack Daniels, fresh lime juice, Grizzly Paw ginger beer, and mint).

Sherlock Holmes- 10012 101A Avenue NW
After a long day of roping and riding, head to Sherlock Holmes for a 16oz Cowboy Ribeye served with roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled broccolini. On Wednesday and Thursday they're serving smoked baby back ribs glazed with a Makers Mark BBQ sauce.  Yum.

Normands Fine Regional Cuisine- 11639 Jasper Ave
Mosey on over to Normands for the their Wild Game Menu (served October-November). Special items include marinated Australia crocodile skewers, Alberta wild boar osso bucco and braised rabbit chasseur.

The Westin- 10135 100 St NW
Did someone say onion ring poutine? Yes. You heard right, and it doesn't stop there. The Westin is also serving up 1/2 lb beef brisket sandwiches and PB&J doughnut holes. Make sure your chaps aren't too tight, you'll need the room!

Sorrentino's Downtown- 10162 100 St NW
Saddle up and wander over to sample the lunch and dinner specials at Sorrentino's Downtown. They're dishing out house smoked Amarone maple pork short ribs... it's the stuff cowboy dreams are made of.

Lion's Head Pub- 4440 Gateway Blvd
It ain't this pub's first rodeo. They're hitting you with specials like ribs 'n frites with fork-tender pork side ribs and rodeo special bison burgers stacked inside brioche buns. You may need to grab a few extra napkins.

Sawridge Edmonton South- 4235 Gateway Blvd
Spice rubbed sterling silver brisket will keep you fueled up as you ride your horse into the sunset. Pair this savoury meal with the 'Farmer's Daughter'— a cocktail featuring Makers Mark Bourbon, Kings Ginger, rooibos tea, charred rosemary, fresh ginger and lime.
