Ladies' Night: SkirtsAfire Edition

by Edmonton Tourism Team

What makes the perfect ladies night? The company of your best gal pals and a good glass of vino—that’s a given. Maybe you dust of the ol’ party dress and hit the town, or hunker down in your sweats for an evening of board games and salty snacks. That all sounds well and good, but why not take this sacred evening up a notch? You deserve it, after all. Enter SkirtsAfire Festival, and the ladies’ night of legends.

The festival began as all good ideas do; with wine, popcorn and a group of brilliant women! Since 2013, SkirtsAfire has taken to Alberta Avenue to empower artists and audiences. Experience theatre, dance, film, yoga, spoken word, visual art and music in various venues along Edmonton’s newest hub for arts and culture. This multidisciplinary festival empowers, develops, supports and showcases women artists while being inclusive to everyone—what better way to celebrate the love you have for your own girl gang? Whether you’re coming into town for a short-haul trip, or just need something to spice up your weekend, SkirtsAfire brings the heat to your March ladies’ night.
