The tenors of the Edmonton Opera Company and the dancers of Alberta Ballet call the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium home. The “Jube” hosts the full gamut of international dance, music, comedy and drama. Canada’s second largest dance company, Alberta Ballet has been catching worldwide attention for its unique “portrait ballets”, music/dance collaborations with icons like Sir Elton John, Sarah McLachlan, and k.d. lang. Their partnership with Joni Mitchell resulted in the mega-hit ballet “The Fiddle and Drum”, which featured at the countdown to Vancouver’s 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
