The historic Princess Theatre, located on Whyte Avenue is an architectural piece of art over a century old. The two-screen art-house cinema has a main 400-seat auditorium that is entirely wheelchair accessible, and an intimate 100 seat screening room in the basement. It is the oldest surviving theatre in Edmonton with much of the building still much the same at it was when it was originally built in 1915.

Take the entire family for an evening at the movies, and don't worry if you have a small child, the Princess Theatre is the only theatre in Edmonton to have a Cry Room, a sound-proof viewing room, equipped with volume control and a change table.

Matinees are held every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and Monday is discount night!
