The Corn Maze

Tuesdays-Sundays until October 22

The Corn Maze is a must-do tradition for any family. Go during the day with younger kids for the ultimate autumn experience or take older kids/teens in the evening for a spookier outing. This year’s theme is centered around the Edmonton Oilers.

Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm Haunted Pumpkin Festival

Weekends, September 29-October 31

Prairie Gardens pulls out all the harvest stops. Featuring things like pumpkin picking, live music, magic shows, corn mazes and more.

Harvest Hoedown at Fort Edmonton Park

September 21

Fort Edmonton Park's harvest celebrations are a great option for the whole family from youngins to grandparents. Dance the night away in an airplane hanger, accompanied with live music by Danny Hooper and a delicious harvest BBQ buffet.

Boo! At the zoo

October 28

A tiny bit of all-hallows with a big dash of adorable. Boo! At the Zoo is great for young kids with hands-on science experiments and tons of furry creatures to discover. Wear your coolest costume and bring a reusable trick-or-treat bad to get some delicious treats

Old Strathcona Ghost Tour

Monday-Thursday at 9 pm

Take the older kids out for a spooky evening (that's also a bit educational - shhh we won't tell) with Edmonton Ghost Tours. Take a guided tour through one of Edmonton's most historic neighbourhoods with a haunting twist. Learn about ghosts, murders, mysteries and more!

Festival of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Back for the second year by popular demand, this is a must-attend event for any Potterhead. Featuring a Dragon Alley market, Quidditch practice, a magical express train and more! This event was wildly popular last year and sold out quickly, so get your tickets early.
