The 124 Street area invites you to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 'All is Bright' winter festival! Lose yourself in the glow of the lights, bask in the warmth of the Beverage Gardens, and cook some delicious treats over a fire. You'll be swept away while getting to enjoy some of Edmonton's best local businesses and artisans. Head to Helen Nolan Park for an evening of music and celebration, and the dramatic light-up ceremony! This is a scorcher of a street party in one of Edmonton’s coolest neighbourhoods.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers are coming to Edmonton for a double-header as Team Canada faces Venezuela and Panama and look to punch their ticket to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023!

This evening festival is inspired by alpine holiday markets, where guests of all ages can explore the tastes, sights, sounds and surprises that tell a magical winter story. The Kurimoto Japanese Garden hosts the traditional Luminaria event, with candles lighting the walk and Memory Lane open for guests to light a candle in honour of a loved one. Stroll through the lit pathways while sipping hot apple cider, enjoying seasonal sounds of strolling a cappella singers and spotting magical “snow sprites” within glittering ice sculptures.

Head to Old Strathcona for the annual Winter Whyte Light Up! The Old Strathcona Business Association is turning McIntyre Park into a winter wonderland and celebrating the holiday season. The stories, music, artwork, and text in the experience come from local Indigenous perspectives and voices, gathered through engagement with local Indigenous communities and research.
