DARK at Fort Edmonton Park

From local food truck favourites to spooky cocktails to a live DJ spinning spooky beats, DARK is Edmonton’s haunted festival, and you won’t want to miss it!
Pumpkins After Dark
We guarantee you've never seen this many pumpkins at once! Pumpkins After Dark features more than 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins. Explore the magical pathway of lit pumpkin displays with music and special effects. With classic Halloween characters, dinosaurs and dragons, movie and pop culture icons – this family friendly event has something for everyone.

SCREAM is Back!
Costumed creepers, a haunted labyrinth, and a ton of musical acts! SCREAM, Canada’s largest and longest running Halloween dance event, returns on October 29 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Get your groove on and enjoy the spooky vibes! You won't want to miss this Halloween's hottest event.
FrightFest at TELUS World of Science
Scary movies are a ghoul's best friend! Creep it reel with your favourite cult-classics on the big screen for FrightFest in the TELUS World of Science's IMAX theatre! Enjoy classics such as The Shining and Friday the 13th, modern blockbusters like Get Out, and family-friendly favourites like Casper... which happens to be a costume party viewing!
Deadmonton Haunted House
No Halloween is complete without a haunted house! This year, Deadmonton attempts to warp the fabric of time, space, and even reality. Join them on a twisted trip down the rabbit hole and into the warped minds of madness! Deadmonton is proud to bring you two amazing haunted attractions this year: Icons of Darkness and Return of the Living Dead.

Edmonton Corn Maze
Each year, the Edmonton Corn Maze creates new themes designed to get thousands of visitors turned around. From the air, the maze looks like a beautiful artistic pattern. On the ground, it tests your sense of adventure (and direction). With other farm activities including a pumpkin patch and local market, the Edmonton Corn Maze is the perfect place to spend an October afternoon!

All Aboard the Haunted Trolley
Embark on a spooky hour-long Haunted Trolley Tour over the historic and haunted High Level Bridge and Old Strathcona as the sun sets. Hear some of Edmonton’s most spooky and gruesome ghost stories. Learn about the ghosts that still wander around the Arts Barns, the ghosts from the original construction of the High Level Bridge, and more frightening stories!

Discover why an autumn outing to the pumpkin patch during this charming month-long Pumpkin Patch Haunted Harvest Fest is an annual tradition for many Edmontonians. Head out to Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm for this signature event. Take a walk through the spooky ghost town, creep through the haunted farmhouse, or enjoy some live entertainment. Did we mention that there's also a pumpkin cannon?! Oh my gourd!

Fright Night at Galaxyland
Sneak over to West Edmonton Mall this month for some spooky special events. Kick off your Halloween weekend at Galaxyland with the return of Fright Night! Boo! At the Zoo!
A tiny bit of all-hallows eve with a big dash of adorable. Boo! At the Zoo is great for young kids with fun activities and tons of furry creatures to discover. Learn about some of the zoo's spooky animals, including our nocturnal creatures and watch them get Halloween treats! Stop by the All About Bats table and the Palm Oil Awareness table to learn about animal conservation. There will also be an animal skeleton touch table and meet and greet with Maleficent!
